Pakistan Super League 2024
Do you know the date and venue for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) in 2024?
The ninth season of the Pakistan Super League will take place in 2024. Six teams compete in a double round-robin and page playoff format in this franchise Twenty20 cricket league, which was founded by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The season is slated to run from February 17 to March 18, 2024, in four different cities in Pakistan.
The franchise owners were against PCB's plans to expand the league by two additional teams and relocate the competition to the United Arab Emirates because of the 2024 Pakistani general election. Concurrently, there were negotiations about holding the matches in Peshawar's Arbab Niaz Stadium. Unfortunately, because of the security problems, it didn't succeed. It was so determined that the league would be held in four cities: Rawalpindi, Karachi, Multan, and Lahore. The locations and schedule were revealed by the PCB on January 12, 2024.
Teams:
Six days after the teams announced which players they would be keeping, on December 13, 2023, the squads were completed with the draft in Lahore. On January 29, 2024, a replacement and supplemental draft was created.
